 A big welcome from the Hartland Primary School staff!

Here at Hartland Primary we have a fantastic team of staff; our Headteacher, governors, administrators, teaching assistants, caterers, cleaners, and of course teachers, who all work together to create, what we believe to be, a very unique team.  We are all here for the same purpose; to give our children the best start in life.  We aim to do this every day by providing the children with as many educational and extra-curricular opportunities as possible, in a warm and friendly environment.

We believe that every child has something special to bring to our school family, and it is our responsibility to find and nurture these individual talents. That is why we have spent time together creating our own child-centred curriculum, and work together to not only keep our children safe but instil in them a life-long love of learning. Being a small, rural school, we work closely with the local community to maintain these links as many of the local residents were once pupils of the school.  We feel this is very important in upholding our warm and welcoming ethos which is central to our school community.

We are very proud of our OFSTED rated 'GOOD' school. (June 2019)
