Holiday dates
School Holidays for the coming year are as follows: (may be subject to change)
- Half Term - 26th October - 1st November 2009
- Christmas Break - 18th December - 3rd January 2010
- Half Term - 15th February - 21st February 2010
- Easter Break - 1st April - 18th April 2010
- May Day - 3rd May 2010
- Half Term - 31st May - 8th June 2010
- Summer Break - 23rd July - September 2010 (date to be confirmed)
Admissions
Our admission policy follows the guidelines laid down by the Government and the Local Authority. Those who reach five years of age between September to February are admitted in the Autumn Term prior to their fifth birthday, and those born between March and August are admitted in the Spring Term. Legally children do not have to start school until the term they become five and parents have that option.
In order to help children to start school we give them an introductory period at school the term before they begin. They are welcome to come to lunch if they wish and travel to and from school on the buses can be arranged.
